Dr Debasis Biswas

Dr Debasis Biswas is renowned Orthopaedic Surgeon . He has completed his medical schooling(MBBS) from Medical College, Kolkata and post-graduation (MS ORTHO) from R.G. Kar Medical College and hospital, Kolkata in 2011 to2014. After which he worked another year in the same institution an Senior Resident to gain more experience. He was awarded DNB in Orthopaedics by National Board of Examination . He was also awarded Membership of National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS). He did special training in Joint replacement surgery and Arthroscopic surgery from world renowned Institution National University Hospital, Singapore. He also did fellowship in Foot and Ankle surgery from same Institution(NUH, Singapore). He also pursued training in hip and knee replacement(primary and revision) in New Castle Hospital upon Tyne, UK. To sharpen his skill in Knee and Shoulder Surgery he did training in Paris(France) under guidance of renowned surgeon Dr Jean Grimberg. Dr.Biswas is now working as senior consultant in Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement Surgery in Health World Hospital, Durgapur.
